Clarach Bay Holiday Village is situated right on the beautiful Clarach Bay Beach which is just a few miles from Aberystwyth Town Centre.

What is the park like?
It is a beautiful park with a river running through it with runs into the sea.
There are mountain walks and rock pools to explore. Clubhouse, swimming pool and much more

 Things you should Consider When Booking Privately


Will I have to Pay Any Other Added costs?

Beware some holiday lets have gas or electric meters which can significantly increase the cost of your holiday. Make sure the price you been given is per group not per head as this can make quite a difference! Always check out the cost of passes to use the site facilities as some parks can charge quite a lot.


All our prices include gas and electricity and the price you pay is per group not person. Site passes cost just £5 per week or £1 per day per adult and children go free with an adult with a pass. However you can pay as you go to use the clubhouse and swimming pool. Please see out site facilities page for full details


Will it be clean and properly maintained?
There have been quite a lot of horror stories about the state of some privately owned holiday lets which can make people very cautious about booking direct with an owner. If your holiday let is not on Tripadvisor and has no customer feedback of any sort you should be very careful.

It Looks Nice in the Pictures
Make sure you find out what is included in your accommodation! don’t just assume that it will have everything you need or expect.  Some holiday lets only show you a few pictures and it can be difficult to really see what it is like. This can sometimes lead to disappointment when you arrive.


If you click on our “click here to see full details” yellow stars next to each accommodation below you will find pictures of every room and a description of what is in every room next to the pictures. We have nothing to hide and want you to see exactly what you get in each holiday let.


Is the Holiday Let Safe for Me to Stay In?

Holiday parks are monitored and inspected regularly to ensure that they meet health and safety standards but private owners are not.  Why? Subletting is a contract between the owner (who bought it from the site) and youtherefore it is nothing to do with the park. Therefore it is easy for some private owners to sublet without having any regard to health and safety law. You should always check that owners have at least gas and electric checks for your own safety.


Your comfort and health and safety are very important to us and we go much further than just basic checks to ensure your comfort and safety. All our Holiday lets have;

  • Yearly gas checks
  • Yearly electric checks
  • Yearly PAT testing for all electrical equipment
  • Smoke detectors,
  • Fire extinguishers and fire blankets in the kitchen
  • Carbon monoxide monitors

What Can I expect when I Arrive Would you like a cup of tea or coffee
We want you to relax and enjoy your holiday from the moment you arrive. So we supply a welcome tray with tea, coffee and drinks for the kids to help you relax and unwind before you unpack.

Who Can I Contact if There is a Problem?
As we have already stated the contract for subletting is between you and the owner. If there is a problem the site are are not responsible and cannot act to put things right for you. You should ensure that you have the contact details of the owner and a copy of their terms and conditions. If you have not been given any terms and conditions you have entered into a contract with no agreements of service.

We have a booklet in each holiday let with information about the site, emergency numbers and our contact details. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a pleasant holiday and do our best to sort out any problems for you. Before you book you are given our terms and conditions which you can find here

Where is My holiday Let situated?
Make sure you know where your accommodation is on the park. You don’t want to be right next to the clubhouse or noise will be a problem at night. However you don’t want to be so far away from the site facilities so that you have a long walk each time you want to go anywhere.

All our chalets and caravans are just a few minutes walk from the beach and near to site facilities but not too near so that noise is a problem.
